Assigned Work for 3rd Year Students during school closure
Hello all! I hope this message finds you and your families, safe and well. As we are living through unprecedented times, I think it would be a great idea to document this living history. This Covid-19 outbreak will go down in the geography and history books in years to come and you will be able to tell your own children and grandchildren about it. SO, I want you all to keep a diary of this school closure. Get a small unused notebook and start writing. Just a few lines day, how you are feeling, what is happening in Ireland on that day AND don't forget to include some statistics from around the world. This will be a unique primary source that you have created during this strange time. I will be checking in on your diary's progress regularly, so keep it up. Ms. Fisher

Week beginning 5th May- Junior Cert Assessment UPDATE
Hi guys, hope everyone is well and enjoyed the long weekend.
So I know many of you have been wondering about the Junior Cert and what your assessment is going to look like. Myself and the other Geography teachers are working hard to come up with a fair system to ensure you all get the marks you deserve and can enjoy some kind normality in the summer!
We are still finalising things, but it's looking like your marks will be based on your combined scores from:
REVISE KEYWORDS AND PRACTICE SHORT QUESTIONS.
This is the best advice I can give you guys, as it is a fast effective way to revise the whole course.
We are on the home stretch, YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
The exam is available now. Click on the link below. Thos link will be active until 6pm on Wed 20th May. You will need to log in with your school email address so I recieve it when you submit it.
